MicroStrategy, a software company, has announced that it bought an additional 850 BTC in January, bringing its total holdings to 190,000 BTC worth $8.2 billion. The company first started buying BTC in August 2020 as a way to provide better returns to shareholders. MicroStrategy's stock has seen a 240% increase since it began its cryptocurrency strategy.
