Franklin Templeton has announced that customers can now exchange shares of its OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (FOBXX) using the BENJI token on a public blockchain. FOBXX, which has $360 million in assets under management, is the first U.S.-registered fund to use blockchain for transactions and share ownership. The move aims to create efficiencies in traditional financial assets and streamline the buying and selling process.
